The following pages contain won-loss records for LHS football and basketball teams from 1950 to 1980, along with team photos whenever possible.

Most of the scores and photos were taken from the venerable Magnet--the LHS yearbook-- stored at the Leominster Public Library. When yearbooks weren't available I used microfiche articles from the old Leominster Enterprise as a source.

Unfortunately, several yearbooks have disappeared (or as the librarian told me, "walked off"). As a result you won't see football or basketball team photos and scores for several classes. In some cases we included scores when they were available from sources other than the Magnet. If you possess missing scores and/or team photos, contact us at

We can't vouch for the accuracy of scores contained in yearbooks or names of team members listed in yearbook photo captions, simply because all were edited by high school students, not professional journalists or statisticians. Contact us if you spot any inaccuracies and we'll gladly correct them.
